David and I went to Target today and I decided to put Sophie in the big girl car seats to see how she fit and liked them. She sat in the Britax Marathon for a good 5 minutes and talked and babbled to us about it. She's almost 20-lbs which means she has to get a big girl seat by the time she's 22-lbs. She's not legally supposed to be in her infant carrier past 22-lbs. Anyway, so I've had my eye on some seats. We also know that car seat safety for kids has become news and they are cracking down on folks who don't have kids in seats under the age of 8.
Ok. Well it's Labor Day weekend and we are going to sit back and do a bunch of nothing. Oh, wait we have a garage that has to be cleaned out and a house that looks like a toddler lives there . . . and 5 dogs! Harry also has to get his dose of training and that needs to include greeting and meeting strangers--politely! Well all have a good weekend . . . and take it easy!

Look how tall my girl is!! Only 1 1/2 inches shorter than her 16 mo-old cousin!!
