We went to the pediatrician last Friday, June 25th, for Sophie's 18 month check up. Of course she's 19 months but it takes forever to get an appointment for that. Anyway . . . David and I left there glowing parents! The pediatrician, said Sophie was "advanced" and "impressive" with her speech and learning.
She said tons of stuff to Dr. Hopkins and also wanted to sit in his lap. As she was sitting on him she proceeded to pull up her arm and say, "belbo" as she pointed to her elbow. Then she showed him Binky (her most favorite pink blanket) and said, "beeky" as she showed him. He asked her if she had purple shoes on and she said, "pupple shoo". We are so proud! She reads books all the time and we read to her too every day. He said that's great and to keep it up. Her baby signing is amazing now too and she knows well over 30 signs! Her physical stats were great too. She's 24-l bs (40%) and 32 3/4 inches (73%). He said she was in perfect health and is doing great! . . .In the pic above she is sitting in a giraffe chair in the exam room and she's showing us her belly button through her dress. Silly girl.
