Today we had a picnic put on by some parents of all the toddler classes at Sophie's montessori school. I wanted to go since we haven't met anyone there really except the teachers. Everyone brought a dish and met at this very nice little park in south Arlington (Pantego).
One of Sophie's teachers was there, Helle (pronounced "hella"), and she got so happy when she saw her. She seemed quite confused as to why Helle would be at a park and not school. We were walking up to the pavilion and Helle was on a bench. Sophie kind of mumbles, "Helle?" and then she gets all giddy after she confirmed it was her, "Helle!" and she takes off running toward her. She ran to her and hugged her legs. It was so cute.
She also knew the names of all of her classmates. We met some parents and I said "Sophie, who is that?" and she said, "Chandler" and then again to a little girl named Blake. She said, "Hi Blake!". So cute! She has little classmate friends!
Anyway, of course we took loads of pics and so I uploaded them to this slide show for you. There is a stupid little ad that pops up on the bottom of the slide. Click the little black x in the ad to get rid of it.
