Milestones Abound

Well our little girl is getting big and she's doing things like babies do . . . that you just love! She's hitting some very big milestones. First, she can grab things herself now. Yesterday I put her under her big bear activity center (we call him Barnaby) and she kicked and kicked at it and then I looked over and she was grabbing the toys hanging down! Yay! Here she is playing in her new jumperoo. She likes it, she'll like it more the older she gets!

Secondly we are graduating to size 2 diapers, that's 12-18lbs. She's a big girl and her size 1s are a bit small now although she can still wear them. You can see they are a little tight. But it also doesn't hinder her smiles or happiness! Don't you think those rolls on her arms are cute? Here she is kicking and talking too . . .


And lastly we are doing 12 hour nights. Yes indeed. She is sleeping 12 hours without waking at all. She goes to bed around 7pm and wakes around 7am, sometimes 6-6:30am. We feed her the last meal at 7pm and then a dreamfeed (where she sleeps thru the feeding) at 10pm and then she's down for the rest of the night. It's really great! We thank Sara a lot too. She still sings Sophie to sleep . . .

Here is a picture that has been long awaited by lots of my clients. It was hard to get without lying her on the ground but now that she can at least sit in her Bumbo chair I was able to get a pic of Sophie and her "brothers".
